Your target audience is a good age range 16 – 26 years, however by targeting just males you are limiting your market. You want to use a messy font for the front cover, the examples you have given in your research appear quite clean and anything but messy, however you can make them appear more raw by using the fonts you have selected as a start and then editing them in Photoshop using various tools to give them that raw, messy finish. Your colour palette is original and will work well together but give evidence that you have researched into your colour scheme by showing other examples you considered. Your test shots show you have experimented with different poses and styles just ensure you use a plain background when taking your photos to make it easier to cut the model out. If you decide to use the background ensure the mise en scene is appropriate. Also show examples of various models you have considered.
